Native of Montreal, she lives in Laval since 1962. As far as she can remember, she has always drawn. She began expressing herself through painting in 1976.
Her favorite subjects are landscapes and they are, more and more, tinted with warm colors. Executed in a figurative manner, mainly focused on feelings rather than techniques, the landscapes that inspire her the most are pastoral scenes that evoke peaceful feelings. Peace and softness are among the comments the most often mentioned from people when gazing at her paintings. Many of them are part of private and corporate collections and are an invitation, for the people who contemplate them, to share a moment of dream and peacefulness.
The mediums she uses are pastels and oils. She teaches oil-painting sessions since 14 years. At various occasions, she gave public painting demonstrations. She equally participated in many exhibitions (galleries, cultural events, symposiums), which oftenly resulted in a selection in accordance with merit and where she was granted numerous prizes.
She has made herself known through different weekly and monthly newspapers of various communities such as Rosemère, Mont-Tremblant, Bois-des-Filion and Laval, Mont-Tremblant community TV station, through her participation in the 2006 Artists of Laval calendar and, finally, through the ‘Laval en fleurs’ website.
She is a member of PSEC, QACB and Rose-Art.
