Carl Desrosiers studied Graphic Arts at the Canadian School of Commercial Art in Montreal; he also studied portraits and nudes at the School of Fine Arts in Montreal. As long as he remembers Carl Desrosiers was interested in graphic arts. As young as ten years old, he was practicing with oil painting; later he chose the offset ink for his abstracts paintings. As a graphic conceptor and illustrator, he uses gouache, felt-tip, air brush, indian-ink, watercolor, but, enthusiastic over dry pastel, this is the medium that he chose for his paintings.
