The Web site of Pastel Society of Eastern Canada (PSEC) uses cookies, written in Javascript, in order to gather statistics about the visit frequency and page views. This data collection is processed anonymously and transparently, and doe not have any impact on the visitor’s computer in any way. None of this data identifies the visitor on an individual manner. This data is only for analysis and gives tools the Web managers to improve navigation, content or its performance. PSEC is committed to use this information only for the use stated above and will not add cookies without previous warning to the user. Moreover, we also use cookies in order to give restricted access to our members by storing their username and password. This cookie is a session that records the ID of the member in order to give him access to a specific section of the site in which he or she will find some privileged information. This cookie avoids entering a password every time the user access one of these pages during the session. The information in this cookie is not used in other manner that the one described above and are erased form the computer memory as soon as the member ends his or her session using the provided link or after a 24 hours inactivity in the session.

Registration Form

The site offers to non-member visitors the opportunity to register to PSEC using the online official registration form. The information gathered during this registration will neither be used on our Web site, nor sold or distributed in any way to third-party entities. They are used for internal management of our PSEC membership only.

User name and Password Reminder Form

The Web site offers an online tool to retrieve username and password for users that request it. Unauthorized use of that fonction is strictly prohibited and can be followed by lawsuits from PSEC.

Online Transactions

No online transactions are currently available on PSEC’s Web site. If a visitor is aware that such transaction is happening while using the site, he must immediately contact the Webmaster in order to void fraud being executed without our consent.

No other data capture is done this site.

Friendly reminder regarding username and password

It is very important to never share your username or password to anybody, for any reason, by any mean (i.e. for information sharing, false identity, by email, phone, online or in person). Numerous frauds are commited daily without your express consent. PSEC would like to keep its members’ identity and personnal data confidential and is counting on your vigilance and collaboration to avoid that such incident occurs.
